VoodooV is a four-piece groove machine from Finland blending tight funk rhythms, mellow choruses and psychedelic solos with the intensity of a rock band. Their sound fuses influences from 60s funk and psych rock to modern indie and beyond.
Formed during pandemic-era jam sessions, VoodooV released their debut album Jamgem in 2023, reaching listeners worldwide on vinyl and digital platforms. In 2024, the band began collaborating with producer Raphael Neikes, expanding their sound and taking their energetic live shows beyond Finland.
Their 2025 album Hello World explores themes ofdigital alienation, online populism, and the commercialization of spirituality - all delivered with a playful edge and groove. Despite its critical undertones, the record remains upbeat and danceable, combining psychedelic rock, indie pop, and funk into a vibrant, modern soundscape. Turn on. Tune in. Drop out. Have a laugh.
